Writing Squad Kernow

Writing Squad Kernow is a writers workshop for young people run by KEAP (Kernow Education Arts Partnership) and is designed to inspire and nurture young writers in Cornwall aged from13-19.

On the 15th February, Pol and Mike took over the workshop to help budding authors and performance poets to get to grips with Cornish as a source of representing a ‘sense of place’. Armed with a better understanding of the language, its history and associated poetics it soon became clear that Cornwall will soon be seeing a new wave of writing talent capable and confident of representing Cornish with authenticity and honesty like never before!
