New help for Kowethas
With the aid of a grant from MAGA, together
with European funding via the University at Tremough, the Kowethas
has been very fortunate to get a post-graduate placement from the
University to assist with improving our marketing and
publicity.
Her name is Liz Crossland and she is an MA
Professional Writing student. Liz will be working on producing
publicity materials for the Kowethas, some improvements to An
Gannas and the website and getting the Kowethas linked up to
Twitter!
Here are a few words from Liz about the latter:
“Dydh da, I’m Liz, Marketing and Publications Co-ordinator for
The Cornish Language Fellowship.
The Kowethas is now on Twitter! We’re targeting an online audience
to promote news and events such as Yeth an Werin informal pub
gatherings and, of course, the Kowethas itself. Using Cornish and
English hashtags, we are steadily gaining followers, including
local radio station Source FM.
Follow us @Kowethas1 and please
retweet any news and events!”
