Cornish Today
Cornish today is a living language and is
recognised as such under the European Charter for Regional or
Minority Languages.

A strategy for development, drawn up in response
to this recognition has resulted in a funded development programme
to help the language move forward.
In this section you will find the background studies and documents
which have helped Cornish take a leap forward, together with
information on the state of the language today. As more research is
carried out and new information becomes available, it will be
posted here.
