There are various opportunities to meet with other Cornish speakers in the informal setting of a pub. Often called a "Yeth an Werin", which means "language of the people," these gatherings are an excellent opportunity to use or practice your spoken Cornish.

There are a number of regular gatherings around Cornwall, including:

• the Royal Standard, Gwinear, Hayle on the first Tuesday of each month
• the Plume of Feathers, Pool on the third Tuesday of each month
• the Plume of Feathers, Scorrier on the last Tuesday of every month
