StrategyThis strategy for the Cornish language represents the results of a long process of consultation.
Public meetings, focus groups and written submissions provided the material from which the draft strategy was drawn. Further consultation was invited on the draft and the resulting comments were incorporated into the final document. The strategy was published in each of the four current forms of Cornish as well as in English, and each can be downloaded as a PDF below. The strategy is also available in hard copy on request. The document is bilingual (please state which version of Cornish you refer when requesting a copy). Requests for hard copies should be addressed to the Cornish Language Office, Dalvenie House, County Hall, Truro, TR1 3AY or e-mail [email protected]. Copies are also available from each public library in Cornwall. The Cornish Language Partnership has been formed to drive forward the implementation of the Strategy, and regular updates on progress will be posted on this website and printed in the Partnership’s monthly newsletter.
