to a full list of verbs to ensure the correct form and spelling.
The late Ray Edwards was the first scholar to produce a
comprehensive book of this kind (entitled ‘Verbow Kernewek’) in
1995 and this edition is largely based on his work, revised and
amended in the light of modern research by members of the Board. It
contains more than 280 verbs, arranged alphabetically, with
paradigms of the regular verbs. Every mood and tense is shown, and
there is a comprehensive index of the verbs found in the Gerlyver
