PadstowCornish has been flavour of the month recently at the Tesco supermarket in Padstow. MAGA worked with Kris Jane, the Learning Officer for the union USDAW to provide a short Cornish language course, free of charge, to the staff. Ten people signed up for the taster session and found it so enjoyable that more than twenty people enrolled on the course itself. Pol Hodge, who is Education Officer and was the tutor at Padstow
said, “I used the ‘St Columb Course’, which is easy to teach and
gives an introduction to speaking and reading Cornish. The
