Have your say

Your views are important to us, so make sure your voice is heard by telling us what you think.

The Community Engagement Strategy 2009 sets out our approach to community engagement. It highlights our commitment to improve our coordination of consultation and engagement activity. This is both within the Council and with our partners.

You can have your say about Council matters and issues in a number of ways. The links below will direct you to more information. This includes how to let us know your views about services and specific Council issues that we are currently consulting on.

We consulted, during November and Decemeber 2017, on our draft business plan and budget proposals for increasing Council tax, charges for some services and reducing or stopping providing some services.

More information, including how to have your say on the policy proposals, is on our Adult Social Care Policy consultation page.

  • We all know that too much sugar is bad for us, but with busy lives and an abundance of sugary foods for sale in shops, cafés and restaurants, it is sometimes difficult to avoid. Sugar Smart Cornwall believes that it should be easier to choose healthy food options when you are out and about. Tell us what you think about sugar so can work with our partners to make it easier to make healthier choices.
Closes at midnight on Wednesday 7 March 2018.

  • Cornwall Council is highlighting Highways England’s formal consultation on the route for the A30 dualling between Chiverton Cross to Carland Cross. As part of Highways England’s Strategic Road Network, the A30 is a road of strategic importance, which is why the single carriageway between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross roundabouts is being updated to dual carriageway. If you have any questions about the consultation, please email: a30chivertontocarlandcross@highwaysengland.co.uk
