February

18 February 2018 - Bodmin Half Marathon

Don’t miss your chance to run through the beautiful grounds of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock Estate in 2018.

Now in partnership with Bodmin Road Runners, the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service Bodmin Half Marathon is an annual charity event which takes runners from Bodmin College into the grounds of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock Park for two hilly, multi-terrain laps offering stunning views.

The race will start and finish at Bodmin College on Sunday 18 February 2018 at 10am and consist of 13.1 miles (approx) of multi terrain. T-shirts will be issued to all finishers who enter in advance and there will be prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers. Minimum age on day of race is 17 years. The event is open to all, including runners with dogs.

On-Call Firefighter Recruitment Awareness Event 
at Helston Community Fire Station

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service will be holding a recruitment awareness event to explain to potential candidates what the role of an on-call firefighter involves and to provide an overview of the national firefighter selection tests.

5 July 2018 - Cornwall Blue Light Day

Members of Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service will be attending this years Cornwall Blue Light Day to engage with adults with learning disabilities.
